• 1 Boneless/skinless Chicken Breast (I usually do 2 big breasts instead though)
• 4 Cups Water (I do half water half beef stock or chicken stock)
• 1 Cup Flour
• 2 Whole Eggs

Directions:

Boil chicken breast for about 1/2 an hour, remove to cool. Add flour to chicken water. Beat out lumps. Add pre-beaten eggs. Cook on low heat until it's done thickening. Pulverize chicken in food processor. Add to flour/egg gravy. May need to add more water. Unfortunately it won't freeze.

 

 

 

 

My son and daughter will often remind me that Kody, a/k/a wolf dog, and Sally Ann are really pets, not actual family members.  I know, on occasion, when referring to either dog as their sibling, they point out that they've been perfectly happy being my only two children for many years.  Kody, who is referred to as a Native American Indian Dog, exhibits all characteristics of a wolf or a hybrid dog.  She won't let people pet her, is afraid of pretty much everything.  But now that I have Sally Ann, the puppy mastiff, she is in heaven with her buddy.  I signed Kody up for doggie boot camp -- really, just a training class in Old Town -- and it was quite a long wait before she was to start class.  My paper from the school was a carbon, and although I couldn't really read it, I was convinced it was to begin yesterday.  So we all got up at 5:30, did our routine.  Kody isn't like regular dogs who do their routine routinely!  It takes her forever to go outside, forever to eat her breakfast.  Hence, getting up at the crack of dawn to get these tasks accomplished.  In the car, down to Old Town, drag her out of the car, go in and the trainer says, You are not here for training today, are you?  Oops, it doesn't start for another two weeks.  Are you kidding me?  I have to go through the stress of leaving my baby alone, without me for the first time, all over again?  This certainly is not going to be the same experience I had with Charlotte when I left her for preschool the first day where she is happily sitting in her chair, crayons in hand, and I'm sobbing in the parking lot.  I'm not sure that Kody will even make it past the first day, let alone be the amazing student Charlotte was!  But one thing I do know, and that is, human or canine, we all love our dogs and are so happy to have the opportunity to have them as our companions.
